How to Acknowledge and Move Past a Rough Mental Patch

Last week I hit my lowest point in more than a decade and it felt like the bottom fell out of my positivity bucket. I recorded the video below the morning after explaining how I felt and asking who else resonated with it.

At the end of the week I felt a lot more relaxed and positive. I did not try to sweep the sad feelings away nor did I pretend they weren’t there, instead I acknowledged them and gave them space to exist. Below is a video I recorded at the end of the week talking about some of the things I did that helped me move through this period smoother than previous rock bottom times.
